What was initially meant to be the album "Brand New Day" by the band Samson turned into the Paul Samson album "P.S....". But there is no doubt that this is in the vision of the unique and hard rocking spirit of Samson the band. The album is packed with classic riffs and excellent musicmanship much in line with "Before the storm" and "Don't Get Mad... Get Even".

Drummer Billy Fleming provides a solid beat to provide the foundation for the bass alternated between Ian Ellis, John McCoy and Paul himself. The stars of the show is Nicky Moore and Paul himself. Nicky's vocals are as good as ever before; powerful as well as soulful. Paul's playing is excellent. His "one of a kind style" is very present, but there is no denying that he learned a few new trick as well along the way.

The "man of the match"-award must go to John McCoy. John's task was to complete the mixes and make a coherent whole of a wide array of songs and mixes in varying states of completeness. Having said that, at the end of the day the lack of sonic perfection can't take away the power of the actual songs and performances.
